Indirect Tax Leadership Opportunity

Reed Finance is partnering with a prestigious organisation in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Indirect Tax Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide strategic finance leadership across the organisation through insightful analysis and issue resolution with excellent technical knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all indirect and direct tax matters across the organisation
  • Lead, line manage and provide day-to-day support to the tax analysts
  • Drive strategic improvement to the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and controls to support the tax operations
  • Build and maintain relationships within the organisation to ensure that all taxes are considered where projects are being undertaken
  • Develop and implement a sound tax strategy that is followed at all times
Requirements:
  • Professionally qualified (CTA or similar)
  • Significant post-qualification tax experience at a senior level within a large, complex environment
  • A strong track record of leadership and delivery at a senior financial level
  • Extensive experience of leading and managing teams to deliver excellence
  • Substantial professional VAT experience
