Job Title: HGV 1 Driver

Job Description:

Search Consultancy is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 1 driver to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, carrying out vehicle inspections, and ensuring all loads are secure and delivered to various stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Deliver to various stores
• Work with depot staff to quickly turnaround for return journey

Requirements:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have at least one year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Hold a valid CPC & Digi Card
• No more than six points for minor infringements due to insurance
• No major endorsements
• Good communication skills

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 5pm starts

Rate: £16.5 per hour
