Job Description
- Maintenance of standard costing systems and production of costing information & reports to support factory management in improvement projects.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and provide financial analysis to inform business decisions.
- Stock valuations and sales and margin reporting to ensure accurate financial data.
- Reporting of accounts and forecasts to the Management Team to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Charitable trust accounts and administration, including credit control and review of customer credit ratings.
- Key support for annual stock take and provision of data to operations.
- Complete jobs and investigate variances to ensure financial accuracy.
- Various other reporting and analysis as required to support the team.
The Successful Applicant
- Excellent knowledge of MS applications, including confident use of Excel.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to manage and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in the use of accounting software packages.
- Strong commercial awareness to understand business needs.
