We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance support and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery.
  • Use initiative to identify areas that will improve production performance, line utilisation, and focus on reducing scrap levels.
  • Provide maintenance support regarding projects.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in the engineering environment during any slack time.
  • Work in line with the Health and Safety requirements at all times.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering concepts.
  • Knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic techniques and fully understand engineering circuit schematics.
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Willingness to be flexible regarding working hours.
  • Positive proactive approach to working, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard, first time.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per annum basic and a positive working environment.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel, but all candidates will be given due consideration.
