Our ideal candidate will be a caring, fun, and up-for-a-challenge individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and domestic duties, as well as supporting individuals to engage in social activities and develop independent skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as required
- Support with preparing and cooking meals
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments
- Support with social activities, such as outings and events
- Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Keep accurate records and update care plans as required
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills in English
- Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
