Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Accountancy Management Services Limited. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our directors and team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the directors and team members, including preparing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage the daily running of the office, including reception duties, email management, and telephone calls.
  • Assist with database setup and maintenance, as well as client/supplier liaison.
  • Prepare and maintain financial accounts and records for limited company clients.
  • Support the team with tasks such as scanning and filing, diary management, and meeting organization.
  • Maintain the office equipment and ensure the office is kept tidy and organized.
  • Update records on IT systems and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' experience as a secretary or administrative assistant in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with strong IT skills and an aptitude for spreadsheets and databases.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • A full-time, permanent position with a three-month probationary period.
