Merchandising Role Overview

As a Merchandising Specialist with Acosta Sales & Marketing, you will play a critical role in representing hundreds of brands across various retail locations. Your primary responsibility will be to execute a range of retail merchandising activities, including product placement, stock replenishment, and display setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate merchandise in the backroom and place product on the floor to ensure optimal visibility.
  • Stock and pack out products to facilitate easy shopper access.
  • Front face products to create visually appealing displays.
  • Receive and distribute marketing materials to stores.
  • Install and place promotional materials according to instructions.
  • Set up and maintain displays for various products throughout the store.
  • Reset displays or product areas as needed to meet client requirements.
  • Answer simple questions within Premium's field technology on your mobile device.
  • Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
  • Represent Premium and its clients in retail stores within your assigned area.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Enjoy working independently in stores while building relationships with store associates and managers.
  • Owning your stores and being the face of Premium.
  • Effectively communicating with store associates, managers, and Premium team members.
  • Leveraging support from and sharing best practices with the merchandising team nationwide.
  • Contacting Premium's Operations Support Center for assistance with challenges in store.
  • Completing work within the provided timeframe.
  • Closely following detailed instructions.
  • Reporting your work the same day you complete it.

Tools and Equipment

  • Access to reliable transportation to visit multiple retail locations.
  • A smartphone with data and internet access to report and upload photos.
