Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Project Manager to join our team at WR Engineering. As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our mechanical and building services projects.
About the Role:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and final project reports.
Requirements:
- Background in plumbing or pipe work, preferably with an apprenticeship or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
