The Role

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Ingenuity Division. You'll play a vital role in providing information to the Senior Management team and the Group. To understand what drives the business, you'll define ways to measure and report on key performance indicators and ensure decisions are made with a balanced view, considering short and long-term impacts and the impact on both top and bottom-line performance.

You'll obsessively drive the P&L and business model forward, identifying growth opportunities, cost savings, and efficiency gains. The role involves interaction across all key business functions, from business development and trading to marketing and merchandising teams, to ensure that decisions being made across the business drive the desired commercial outcome.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the bridge between the company's finance and non-finance executives
  • Work towards improving financial efficiency
  • Help to improve the FP&A Process
  • Review all client commercial proposals
  • Support the client onboarding process
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with other departments
  • Review of financial and non-financial KPIs with a focus on challenging management teams on budgetary and comparator variances
  • Reporting of key financial information and providing advice and support to enhance knowledge and understanding
  • Providing support to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered
  • Partnering with key business stakeholders to produce budgets and forecasts
  • Drive continual improvement within the finance function
Requirements:
  • Proven, hands-on experience in a Business Partnering role
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
  • Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders across the business
  • Analytical, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-moving and changeable environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Previous experience within an online business would be advantageous
  • A proactive attitude and desire to challenge the status quo
