Job Summary:

The Forklift Driver position at Gregory Distribution involves operating a Counterbalance forklift to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles, and vans. The successful candidate will be responsible for using the warehouse system and scanner to receive, locate, and dispatch goods while handling them with care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift to move goods around the warehouse
  • Use the warehouse system and scanner to receive, locate, and dispatch goods
  • Replenish and consolidate stock as required
  • Perform general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment
  • Complete relevant paperwork in line with warehouse processes

Essential Skills:

  • Hold a current Counterbalance forklift licence (full in-house training can be provided)
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
