Bank Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Bank Care Assistant at Orchard Blythe care home. As a member of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly residents, many of whom are living with dementia.

No experience is necessary as we provide full training and support. Our carers come from all walks of life, united by a passion for delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of others. If you share this commitment, we would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and friendship to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity in a safe and supportive environment. You will also be involved in a range of activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents, from social events to educational programs.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents alike. You should also be flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have QCF/NVQ 1 or 2 in Health and Social Care, although full training will be provided. In return, you can expect a comprehensive induction program, ongoing paid training, and opportunities for career development. We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as accrued annual leave, stakeholder pension scheme, and fast-track career options into management and nursing.
