Class 1 Day Driver Required

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 day driver to join our team at Ancora Recruitment. As a Class 1 day driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised freight to and from end customers across the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering and collecting palletised freight to and from end customers
  • Working on a national logistics contract, operating out of a depot in Shepton Mallet
  • Using a curtain-side vehicle for C&D work
Requirements:
  • Class 1 license held for at least 12 months
  • Experience in the industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including ad-hoc and full-time shifts

  • Hourly pay rate of £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Fleet of well-maintained vehicles
  • Onsite parking
  • Possible permanent opportunities for successful candidates
  • Overtime available
