Container Refurbishment Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others, promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace.
  • Meet all health and safety obligations and adhere to company policies.
  • Report any safety concerns, hazards, accidents, or incidents in a timely manner to allow for full investigation and prevention of re-occurrence.
  • Perform proactive maintenance on various waste container types.
  • Carry out container defect rectification, including lid and wheel replacement as needed.
  • Ensure repairs and painting of containers are carried out to the best of your ability.
  • Maintain a stock of paint, skip chevrons, and vinyl for stickers to ensure the required refurbishment details are completed on containers.
  • Perform regular checks to maintain a working waste collection container stock, minimizing downtime and assisting in exceeding required service levels for Enva customers.
  • Produce and apply vinyl stickers to containers using the cutter plotter system.
  • Assist elsewhere on site if required and within your technical knowledge.
  • Work to the required health and safety standards.
  • Ensure paint, wheels, lids, lights, and stock are always available.

Requirements
  • Basic school qualifications in Maths and English.
  • LGV 2 desirable.
  • Proficiency in using a PC for sticker production.
  • A confident and outgoing personality.
