Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at an established original equipment manufacturer. The successful candidate will be based at our client's production facility near Bristol and will work alongside a team of experienced fitters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the build and assembly of automated machinery
  • Read engineering drawings and assemble components to the required specification
  • Use hand tools and bench tools as required
  • Drilling, tapping, fixing, and fitting of components

Requirements:

  • Good mechanical engineering skills
  • Previous experience in fitting or assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competence in the use of hand tools, drills, and bench tools

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (39 hours) + OT
