About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Executive to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our continued expansion into the commercial market.

Your primary responsibility will be to secure renewal of existing commercial policies through ongoing reviews and servicing our commercial clients. You will also be prospecting, tendering, and securing sales. Working closely with our local team and supported by NFU Mutual, you will devise strategies, generate leads, and develop profitable and long-lasting business relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake face-to-face/telephone reviews of existing clients to secure renewal
  2. Actively prospect and sell to target commercial clients, building long-term trusting relationships with key decision-makers
  3. Cross-sell the full range of NFU Mutual products, including financial services, risk management services, and our range of motor insurances
  4. Manage your own sales pipeline using our Customer Relationship Management tool
  5. Handling day-to-day enquiries, preparation, and negotiating of renewals
About You

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  1. Two years' experience in a B2B development role - essential
  2. Experience in a regulated B2B role - desirable
  3. Proven track record of prospecting, generating, and converting leads to business
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels of a business
  5. Good organisational skills - able to proactively manage a prospects/client pipeline
  6. Can demonstrate the drive, energy, and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to existing and prospective clients
  7. A confident individual who can work well within a team environment but can also focus on their own and team targets
