Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Wood PLC. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of mechanical equipment, including vessels, reactors, and heat exchangers. Your role will involve working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to integrate your equipment into overall plant design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer mechanical equipment, including vessels, reactors, and heat exchangers
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate equipment into overall plant design
• Work in a fast-paced, diverse, and technically challenging environment
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Good degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a reputable university
• Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) status with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (I.Mech.E.) or working towards chartered status
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment found in process industries
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop
