Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in Kingston. As a Psychology graduate with a keen interest in developing your SEN skills, you will have the opportunity to work with children who have special needs in an 'Outstanding Ofsted' Rated Primary School.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist and support the development and learning of students with special educational needs
  2. Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to their requirements
  3. Work alongside other teaching and support staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment
  4. Ensure school policies are upheld, including behaviour policies

Requirements:

  1. A patient and understanding approach to working with students with special needs
  2. An interest in working with students with SEND
  3. Flexibility in your approach to meet the needs of students
  4. Existing DBS check on the update service (new DBS checks can be applied for)
  5. Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is advantageous but not required
