Job Opportunity:

This is a remote position that requires a Junior Water Treatment Technician to support the maintenance of commercial water systems, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity. The role involves water sampling, temperature checks, and other tasks to maintain water hygiene and treatment standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular temperature checks and water sampling to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform TMV inspection and servicing, shower cleans and disinfections, tank inspections and cleans, and chlorination works.
  • Service and replace water softeners and filters, and ensure water treatment maintenance, servicing, and repair works are carried out in accordance with client standards and legislation.
  • Attend emergency call-outs during and outside normal working hours, wearing relevant company-issued PPE and clothing.
  • Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene, including Legionella.
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing and building services.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position with a negotiable 40-hour week, offering a salary range of £25k to £27k depending on experience. The role includes 25 days' holiday, a pension scheme, and other benefits.
