Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess students on a range of courses and learning programmes, utilizing relevant skills and qualifications.
  • Undertake necessary planning, preparation, and assessment to ensure excellent teaching and learning occurs.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including learner registration, attendance, record keeping, tracking, reporting, and liaison with parents and guardians.
  • Meet academic calendar demands, including scheme of working and lesson planning.
  • Prepare students for high levels of study and the world of work, developing vocational and employability skills.
  • Collaborate with the Pastoral and Progression Coach and course team to promote work experience opportunities.
  • Undertake learner interviews, enrolment, and marketing activities, including liaison with parents, guardians, schools, industry, and other organizations.
  • Have overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups, including support requirements and communication with the Curriculum Team Leader and Progress Tutor.
  • Ensure student progression and success, maintaining up-to-date records and relevant student information.
  • Prepare submissions and liaise with accrediting bodies, undertaking internal quality assessment and moderation duties.
Requirements:
  • Experience of teaching or training in the relevant area.
  • Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Appropriate level of professional qualification in a relevant subject or specialism.
  • Experience with Maya, Unity, and Unreal Software.
  • Able to deliver to students at all levels and abilities, using flexible and innovative methods.
  • Ability to transfer practical experience into useful learning activities.
  • Flexibility and team working, with a professional and confidential approach.
