About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist to join our team at HealthHarmonie Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality gynaecological care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with minor and moderate complexity gynaecology conditions in the outpatient setting.
- Perform procedures such as Mirena insertion/removal, endometrial biopsy, cervical cautery, and ring/shelf pessary insertion/removal.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and carers, as well as with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the improvement of resources and services in gynaecology, including the development of local evidence-based standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Participate in audit activities and identify areas of risk and poor quality, addressing these through appropriate governance structures and pathways.
Requirements
- NHS experience as a Consultant Gynaecologist.
- Must be on the Specialist Register for at least 12 months.
- Appraisal as Consultant for at least 12 months.
