About the Role
Page Personnel is seeking a skilled Part Time Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Brighton. As a detail-oriented and organized individual, you will assist with various finance tasks, including credit control, account reconciliation, and supporting finance projects.

Responsibilities
  • Credit Control: Manage outstanding debts, follow up on payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Debtors Reports: Run weekly reports to ensure timely payment tracking and accurate financial data.
  • Email Communication: Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Accounting Tasks: Produce statements, reconcile accounts, and process refund payments.
  • Finance Support: Assist with finance projects as required, providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements
  • Finance Background: Knowledge of working in a finance department or credit control function is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is required.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is necessary to ensure accuracy and precision in financial tasks.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role is £26,000 - £28,000 FTE, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer flexible contracted hours of 20-30 per week, with the possibility of working from home. The ideal candidate will be available to work in the office twice a week and can choose their start and finish times.
