About the Role

The Field Engineer will be responsible for the on-site installation and configuration of customer solutions, including Cisco, SDWAN, WAN, Meraki Wireless, Voice, Structured Cabling, Firewalls, and Installation. This role will involve working at customer premises and data centre locations across the UK, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of customer networking equipment at various locations across the UK.
  • Provide out-of-hours and on-call assistance to customers, and where appropriate, provide on-site support and replacement of hardware.
  • Perform site audits and wireless surveys/design to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to exceed customer expectations and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Requirements
  • Excellent team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for working together to achieve goals.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation and support of various software and hardware peripherals, such as UCaaS, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience with installation and configuration of UCaaS solutions, structured cabling, and wireless surveys.
  • Great customer skills, with the ability to adapt to differing customer groups and provide a first-class customer experience.
