Financial Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and organised Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. Based in Dorchester, this role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable, receivable, and Bacs payments, and manage payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial reports, assist with budget preparation, and support audits
- Handle phone reception, email communications, and manage stationery/postage
- Prepare quotes, letters, and health & safety documentation
Requirements:
- Experience in QuickBooks and accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage tasks independently
- Solid numerical and accounting knowledge
- Effective communication skills, with bookkeeping experience preferred
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is £27,000, depending on experience.
