About the Role

This is a key position within MS Amlin Business Services, responsible for the ownership of IT products and the end-to-end delivery of them as a component of an IT business service. The role works closely with IT and business stakeholders and is responsible for coordinating and assuring all supporting services and development pipelines required to enable the products to deliver to the agreed business service outcomes.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across a matrix of technical service providers to achieve this end. They will engage with IT and business stakeholders to align on service expectations and priorities, managing action plans to respond to customer feedback.

Key responsibilities include owning and managing the product change backlog, working with supporting Technical Service Owners to ensure that their service outcomes are aligned to the stated requirements of the IT Product service, and engaging as required as an SME to assist with the resolution of Incidents and the management of Problems impacting on delivery of your IT Product.

The role also involves supporting the IT Business Service Owner in their visibility and understanding of the IT Product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and managing the delivery of the IT Product to assure that it is compliant with all MS Amlin Internal Controls, IT Policies, and Audit expectations.

What You'll Spend Your Time Doing
  1. Engaging with IT and business stakeholders to align on service expectations and priorities.
  2. Owning and managing the product change backlog.
  3. Working with supporting Technical Service Owners to ensure that their service outcomes are aligned to the stated requirements of the IT Product service.
  4. Engaging as required as an SME to assist with the resolution of Incidents and the management of Problems impacting on delivery of your IT Product.
  5. Supporting the IT Business Service Owner in their visibility and understanding of the IT Product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  6. Managing the delivery of the IT Product to assure that it is compliant with all MS Amlin Internal Controls, IT Policies, and Audit expectations.
