About the Role

Pertemps TM is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to lead and optimize operations in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Enhance logistics and supply chain operations through strategic planning and execution.
  • Manage Procurement and Logistics: Oversee procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Ensure seamless coordination with production, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor and Analyze KPIs: Improve supply chain performance by monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Optimize Inventory Levels: Optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess stock across sites.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly HMRC regulations in the food industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Xero software is a plus.
