Asset Installation Specialist

As a Cable Installation Specialist at Tech Professionals ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of cable installation projects. This involves routing export cables and creating documentation for installation works. You will work on a rotation basis, alternating between working 6 weeks and being off for 4 weeks. During your working periods, you will work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, while maintaining a normal schedule during your off periods.
PositionIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of project execution proceed smoothly in line with company and customer requirements. You will work alternately from our office during the preparation phase and at project locations during the execution phase.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the project team and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution;
- Develop and implement specific working methods with risk analysis;
- Provide technical guidance and advice in the event of problems;
- Supervise subcontractors and review their documentation;
- Verify document control registers to ensure that work instructions, working methods, and drawings have been issued.
- A Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, preferably in Offshore Engineering or Maritime Infrastructure;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore (wind) industry;
- Experience in supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers;
- Strong communication and social skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team;
- Willingness to spend regular periods of time abroad.
