Inclusion Support Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Officer to join our team at ACT School. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of 11-16 Education and the Inclusion Manager/ALNCO to identify learners who require additional support and assist staff in planning, implementing, and reviewing personalised, learner-centred strategies. Your primary focus will be working with pre-16 learners within the school setting, but you will also provide inclusion and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) support to staff delivering the post-16 Jobs Growth Wales+ programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying learners who require additional learning provision.
- Collaborate with delivery staff and the ALNCO to maintain accurate learner progress records and provide data for ALN assessments.
- Help allocate learning support staff to meet learner needs across the setting.
- Promote inclusive learning environments and continuously develop inclusive practices within schools and the JGW+ programme.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on the Additional Learning Needs Code of Practice for Wales and relevant Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) topics.
