About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in a Band 6 Community position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on service improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to students from partner universities
  • Participate in teaching and training for therapy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Facilitate simulation training and work closely with specialist multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc/Grad diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • CSP Membership
  • Additional postgraduate training
  • Evidence of recent and continuous Band 5 rotational experience
  • Demonstrate effective management of workload and autonomous practice
  • Knowledge and experience within the NHS in a wide range of medical conditions and awareness of evidence-based practice
  • Evidence of undertaking relevant postgraduate training/CPD, including reflective practice
  • Experience in on-call service and previous Band 6 experience
  • Experience in community/ASD and ability to provide training to teams
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team in senior's absence and experience leading a mini team
  • Experience organizing rotas and holding a current driving license with insurance for business purposes
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work cross-site and at short notice if needed
