Skyworks, an innovator in high-performance analog semiconductors, is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join its Mobile Solutions RFIC team in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for testing, debugging, and optimizing prototype RFIC designs to meet customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a degree or BTEC Level 5 in a relevant discipline. You will work closely with design engineers and product engineers, collaborating on the development of high-performance RF communication products for mobile phone and other markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing RF testing on prototypes using automated test systems in an R&D lab
  • Debugging and optimizing prototype performance through RF tuning and IC control interface
  • Analysis and evaluation of results
  • Supporting designs through to production, including production test result analysis

We are looking for a self-starter with flexibility to work within a small team to take on a range of tasks as required. Experience of modern wireless communications systems (Wifi, Cellular, Bluetooth) and data analysis, interpretation, and presentation/reporting using Excel is essential.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
