We work with prominent restaurants, hotels, and pub groups, providing expert advice and support to ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough food safety and health & safety inspections and records audits at clients' premises.
  • Produce detailed reports for clients based on these audits and inspections.
  • Carry out risk assessments for occupational, manual handling, and personal protective equipment within hospitality client premises.
  • Implement our ALERT65 compliance platform for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and effective management.
  • Deliver client-specific training to ensure they meet food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Provide expert advice and consultancy information to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
  • Act as Account Manager for a number of clients, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Investigate allegations of food poisoning, allergic reactions, and foreign bodies, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Food Alert Advice Line, responding to requests for advice within set time frames.
  • Provide feedback to Account Managers to enhance relationships between Food Alert and clients.
  • Collaborate with the IT development team to improve the ALERT65 platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Respond to specific instructions and requests from the Operations Director.


Requirements:

  • Relevant food safety and health & safety knowledge and experience, typically a BSc Environmental Health or equivalent industry experience, plus professional qualifications (at least L4 Food Safety essential).
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own time effectively.
  • Experience conducting food safety and health & safety audits of hospitality premises, with a focus on hotels, restaurants, pubs, and bars.
