Electrical Supervisor Job Description

Are you a skilled electrician looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Woodhill.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of electricians and general maintenance staff to deliver exceptional electrical services.
  • Assist with recruitment and supervision of staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Develop and implement rotas to optimize team productivity.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and objectives are met.
  • Investigate and resolve electrical faults, implementing quality control mechanisms to ensure compliance.
  • Review and improve engineering processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • BS7671 certification, 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent.
  • Commercial or industrial electrical experience, with a rounded knowledge of risk and compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience leading teams and taking operational responsibility.
