Physics Teacher Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and qualified Physics Teacher to join our dedicated secondary schools in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Physics lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and promote student curiosity.
  • Plan and implement lessons aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring inclusivity and challenge.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
  • Maintain a positive and focused learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect.
  • Support students facing academic challenges, providing extra guidance and fostering a welcoming presence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives, contributing to the broader educational community.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability to ensure lessons cater to a wide range of learning abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
