We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general support and 1:1 care to children and young people in a residential setting
- Support individuals in the community, promoting independence and social skills
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and care
- Experience working in a support work or care environment
- Up-to-date mandatory training, including Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, and Equality and Diversity
- Safeguarding training is essential
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Competitive hourly rate of up to GBP16.00
- Opportunity to work with a leading care agency, supporting children and young people with complex needs
- Flexible working arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions
