Job Description:

At Bank of America, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals through responsible growth. As a Client Outreach Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' needs are met while adhering to regulatory requirements.

The Function:

The Client Outreach team is responsible for engaging with clients to collect and verify Know Your Client (KYC) documentation. We work closely with Global Markets Sales, Operations, and Global Financial Crimes Risk teams to ensure that our clients' information is accurate and up-to-date.

The Role:

The KYC Client Outreach Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, bankers, and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Requesting and collecting KYC documentation from clients
  • Ensuring banking ownership is clear and working across Lines of Business to close relationship coverage gaps
  • Recording client contacts in appropriate systems of record
  • Overseeing and resolving risks and impacts of non-compliance with KYC processes
  • Gathering client feedback to improve Bank processes
  • Partnering with colleagues to drive process improvements and client satisfaction
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of AML CDD policy and standards, industry practices in AML CDD, and legal entities in global jurisdictions
  • Strong client focus, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
