About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the data flow related to and correspondence between the company and its vendors and interdepartmental communication.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Enter purchase orders and e-mail POs and UPCs to appropriate vendors.
  2. Split purchase order quantities between ship modes as required.
  3. Update and review all data as it becomes available, especially vendor delivery dates and shipment status from vendor WIPs.
  4. Enter shipment details and communicate discrepancies with Production Manager and distributors.
  5. Assist Production Manager with the preparation of Order Inquiries and PO entry.
  6. Follow up with vendors regarding PO tracking, identifying potential delivery risks, monitoring production status, and tracking shipment status.
  7. Work with Distributors to confirm ship modes in a timely fashion along with creating any documents needed.
  8. Assist with special projects when needed, such as ADLC and custom style developments for UK and international Markets.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent time management skills, and strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. They should also be able to adapt to a highly entrepreneurial environment and respond to changes quickly.
