About the Role

Meridian Business Support is delighted to be working with a leading independent autocentre chain to recruit an MOT Tester in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct MOT tests on light vehicles to the highest standards, adhering to DVSA regulations and guidelines.
  • Input test results accurately and efficiently into the DVSA computer system.
  • Fit products and services specified by the company to customer vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for products and services offered by the company.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid MOT Tester license issued by the DVSA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with the DVSA computer system.
