Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Facade/Roofing team on a high-profile project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in exterior envelope construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all external facade activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of Assistant Site Managers and subcontractors to deliver the project scope.
  • Interface with various engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare scope of work at the tender stage for the envelope package.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the main contractor to ensure effective project management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facade/roofing construction, with a strong understanding of UK building regulations and health and safety laws.
  • SMSTS and CSCS Black Card (or equivalent) certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
