About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Client Server. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and mentoring to a small, Agile team while remaining hands-on with designing and developing new features and enhancements to the core web-based gaming platform.

You will take ownership of projects, seek continuous improvements, mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior developers in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small, Agile team
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements to the core web-based gaming platform
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for clients to consume
  • Take ownership of projects and seek continuous improvements
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior developers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with C#.Net Core backend development
  • Good knowledge of AWS
  • Experience with mentoring, leading people and projects
  • Good grounding with Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
