Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Import Agent to join our team at Expeditors. As an Air Import Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of freight processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
  • Track and trace Air Import files as required, utilizing internal systems or external airline websites.
  • Utilize Tree View on a daily basis to monitor and manage freight processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
  • Coordinate the timely sending of documents to customers or brokers for customs purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
  • Interact with customers to arrange international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including airlines, trucking companies, and others.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, including internal policies and external government regulations.
  • Continuously identify areas for improved efficiency within department processes.
  • Ensure adherence to customer standard operating procedures and update them in the DLSOP.

Requirements

  • Excellent data entry and computer skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven history of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
