Role Summary
We are seeking a Mentorship Facilitator to join our Community Resilience Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to support young people aged between 8-25 years old through sport and physical activities. As a facilitator, you will provide a young person-centred relationship-based approach, fostering a positive view of themselves, raising aspirations, and providing safe, fun, and purposeful environments for young people to enjoy.

About the Role
Our Community Resilience Team works with young people who have had adverse childhood experiences or need support to manage their mental health conditions. You will be responsible for working closely with the team to deliver a young person-centred approach, providing opportunities for young people to engage in sport and physical activities.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a young person-centred approach in partnership with the Community Resilience Team
* Provide opportunities for young people to engage in sport and physical activities
* Foster a positive view of themselves and raise aspirations

Requirements
* Deep understanding of difficulties faced by children and young people
* Knowledge around Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma impact
* Essential experience in working with vulnerable groups or personal experience
* First aid and safeguarding training

What We Offer
* Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
