Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in a state-of-the-art subcontract machine shop. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting precision machined parts and components to ensure they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting precision machined parts and components to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs.
  • Working from engineering drawings to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Operating CMMs (Aberlink preferred but not essential).
  • Experience of working with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges, and calipers.

Working Environment: Our machine shop is a busy, clean, and tidy environment with an open-door policy to our customers. We offer a 41.5-hour working week with opportunities for overtime.
