Financial Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at We Do Group.
This is a hands-on role that will involve a range of accounting and administrative tasks, including coding and posting of purchase invoices, checking and marking invoices for payment, and maintaining the purchase ledger.
You will be the first point of contact for supplier payment requests and will be responsible for setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones.
Other key responsibilities include reconciling supplier statements, processing weekly payroll, and preparing supplier payment runs.
You will also assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and provide cover for daily bank reconciliations and sales ledger maintenance.
We are looking for someone with a good grasp of all aspects of AP and AP-related accounting/reconciliations, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
This role could suit someone making their first step into finance after studies or someone looking to take a step up from a focused AP or AR role into a more varied role.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000-£30,000 plus benefits and study support.
