Job Title: Mechanical Contract Manager

About the Role:

The Mechanical Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical contracts, ensuring site safety, and maintaining productivity. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead labour on site and site supervisors.
  • Ensure site safety is maintained and adhered to.
  • Oversee productivity of sub-contractors and directly employed staff.
  • Manage own workload and productivity on site and in the office.
  • Conduct site surveys and identify rectification works as required.
  • Solve issues on site in a calm and measured manner.
  • Report directly to the contract manager.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and merchants.
  • Attend monthly client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in social housing is essential.
  • Hold an ACS qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • SMSTS qualification (advantageous).
  • IT literate, including Excel.
  • Good communication and people skills.
