Key Responsibilities- Coordinating facilities maintenance engineering activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Leading a small team of facilities engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Managing time keeping, attendance, skill records, training plans, and annual appraisals to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Responding to all breakdown incidents in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Identifying and managing project engineering activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing capital expenditures (CAPEX) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensuring engineering work is carried out in line with legislation, technical compliance, and health and safety guidelines.
- Liaising with various departments, including engineering, health and safety, quality, and production, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Involving in the recruitment and training of facilities engineering personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Strong facilities maintenance engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Exposure to project engineering or management within a facilities context.
- Suitably electrically or mechanically qualified to Level 3 or higher.
- Highly organized, strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
