About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a Bank Pharmacist. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize the provision of pharmacy services, including ordering, stock control, and preparation of drugs and medicines.
  • Provide advice to patients and clinical staff on pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure that Inpatient Prescription Record Charts are checked regularly to ensure treatment is appropriate, both clinically and financially.
  • Carry out medicines reconciliation as needed.
  • Ensure that agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with Ramsay policies.

Requirements

  • Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Qualified with a MPharm, BPharm, or BSc (Pharm), or equivalent EEC qualification.
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • At least 4 GCSEs (A-C), including English, maths, and science, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills.
  • Demonstrated Computer skills.
