Teaching Science in a Thriving Secondary School

TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a fantastic mainstream secondary school based in North West London. This school is committed to providing a high standard of education and is relentless in its pursuit of excellence.

The school is looking to take on a driven and initiative-taking Science Teacher on a long-term basis. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE students.

This role will be paramount in empowering and inspiring students to achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

As a Science Teacher, you will need to be highly motivated and a skilled practitioner who is looking to join a thriving school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching Science to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Preparing students for GCSE exams
  • Implementing schemes of learning and following school policies
  • Empowering and inspiring students to achieve excellent results
Requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS in Science
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Experience in teaching Science up to Key stage 4 / KS4
  • Record of excellent classroom practice
