About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Surveying Properties Specialist to join our team at Home Group. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting complex property conditions surveys, carrying out inspections, specifying remediation works, and working with external partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing existing stock data, collecting additional information from specialist consultants, and preparing long-term investment plans. You will also have experience in delivering bespoke projects from initial findings through spec, appointing project teams, and driving forward to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a MRICS or MCIOB, accredited Building Surveying degree or equivalent strong experience built up through their working profession. They will also have a current knowledge of building construction, design, and CDM requirements, good knowledge of relevant codes of practice, building regulations, legislation, standards, and materials.

The salary for this position is ££62,000 - £72,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including 34 days leave (increasing to 39), the option to buy 5 more days, and time off for volunteering. We also have a health cash plan, over 800 high street discounts, and a generous pension scheme with life insurance of 3x salary.
