Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in controlling costs of groundworks projects, ensuring they are running efficiently, effectively, profitably, and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage costs of groundworks projects to ensure timely and profitable completion.
- Measure site works accurately and provide early cost advice to clients on variations.
- Identify commercial risks and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with buyers to undertake cost analysis and advise on procurement and cost control.
- Produce cost value reports and value completed work to ensure timely payments.
- Build strong relationships with clients and company production staff.
- Allocate work to sub-contractors and assist with the development of junior staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience working for a residential groundworks sub-contractor.
- Knowledge of contractual terms within groundworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
