Senior Mechanical Engineering Project Manager - West Midlands - Salary approximately £60,000.

We are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager to support the execution of projects in the Midlands region.

Your primary focus will be on MEPH projects within the Education and Commercial sectors, acting as the company's representative on-site to oversee the comprehensive installation of mechanical systems for these initiatives.

The mechanical systems involved will vary in scale, reaching up to £6 million.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating communication and meetings with clients, supply chain partners, delivery teams, and management.
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety protocols with assistance from the QHSE manager.
  • Participating in internal CVR and progress meetings.
  • Managing project finances, including procurement and cost estimation.
  • Specifying and ordering necessary materials.
  • Preparing method statements and conducting risk assessments.
  • Overseeing and briefing installation teams.
  • Addressing installation and access challenges.
  • Finalizing and submitting as-installed documentation.

As the ideal candidate for the Senior Mechanical Engineering Project Manager role, you will have experience with reputable M&E subcontractors and possess a robust mechanical engineering background.

You should hold either SMSTS or SSSTS certifications. In addition to relevant industry qualifications and experience, you will have comprehensive knowledge of the complete mechanical systems package.
