About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our Environment & Health team in Ramboll's Manchester or Leeds office. As a key member of our national team, you will be responsible for managing environmental and contaminated land projects, supervising site investigations, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Phase 1 environmental site assessments and Phase 2 environmental and geo-environmental site investigations.
  • Plan and supervise environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, including assessment and interpretation of soil and groundwater analytical data.
  • Develop and implement environmental risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports to clients, including interpretative report writing and client liaison.

Requirements:

  • Degree in geology, geography, or environmental discipline.
  • Previous experience in planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Numerical competence and excellent English communication skills.
